Tommy StidhamSchool: ChaffeeSport: FootballCoach: Allan HorrellWeekly Report: Although his team lost, Stidham put up one of the most remarkable individual performances in all of Southeast Missouri this year. Stidham rushed for 310 yards and four touchdowns on 27 carries. He had 202 yards at halftime and could've flirted with 400 yards, but was injured midway through the fourth quarter in the Red Devils' 52-28 loss to Valle Catholic of Ste. Genevieve.
Season Report: Stidham was the heart and soul of Chaffee's team this season, rushing for 1,475 yards on 213 attempts. He scored 15 touchdowns, 10 more than any of his teammates. He also led the team in tackles at cornerback with 62 and 39 assists.
Coach's comments: " He gives 100 percent every time he walks on the field," Horrell said. "You wish you could give him the ball every time. He's pure guts. And he didn't quit on us even though the score was bad at the end. This school and coaching staff will miss him. His work ethic is outstanding. Not only in football, but everything. His leadership was also big for us. He played weak corner and he led the team with 62 tackles. Down at Hayti, I think he was the only guy making tackles."
