Season Report: Fisher has put forth one of the top offensive seasons in the region this spring. Fisher is batting .435 with four home runs, 28 runs batted in, 27 hits and five doubles. He is the area leader in walks with 26 this year. He leads the Tigers (17-7) in RBIs, hits and walks; is second on the team in batting average and doubles and is third on the team in runs scored. Fisher usually bats third in Central's powerful lineup.
Coach's Comments: "One of his strengths is his strength," Williams said. "He's real strong which allows him to hit the ball well. And that comes from work in the weight room. He plays hard and he'll give you everything he's got. Mark's willing to do anything it takes to win -- he'll help in any way he can. He's turned into a disciplined hitter. He's not chasing bad pitches this year. He's waiting for his pitch and hitting it somewhere fair. He's helped the team a lot by getting on base."
