Coach: Darrick Smith

Week Report: Aslinger scored a season-high 25 points and came up with six steals in the Lady Tigers' 52-47 win over Perryville on Saturday. Seventeen of her 25 points came in the second half. She also scored a game-high 15 points from her point guard position against Jackson, the team ranked No. 1 in Class 4A. Despite Aslinger scoring nine points and keeping her team in the game in the fourth quarter, Central lost the cross-county contest 47-36.

Season Report: Aslinger is the undisputed leader of the 17-6 Lady Tigers. She leads the team in scoring and assists with 13 points 2.6 assists per game. She shoots 70 percent from the free throw line and 46 percent from the field. She also has a team-high 77 steals for the year (3.3 steals per game).

Coach's comments: "She's been our most consistent player of the year, especially on the offensive end," Smith said. "The biggest thing for her is that she's steady in her play. She doesn't have ups and downs. You know what your going to get game in and game out. It's hard to do that. Her stats from game to game are very identical. If she doesn't take over offensively, we don't win. But she's the team captain and she's got that responsibility."
