Week Report: Altenthal, a 6-foot-3 senior, scored 33 points in an upset win over Kelly and 12 in a loss to Scott Central last week. In the Kelly game, Altenthal hit six of his eight 3-point attempts.

Season Report: Altenthal averages about 19 points and seven rebounds per game and shoots 73 percent from the free throw line.

Coach's Comments: "The team looks for him to score and take control," said Gloth. "When he doesn't, we struggle. He's just a leader. He doesn't get shook up when the game's on the line; he's wanting the ball. And he's a good kid. He gets real good grades."
