Season report: The 5-10 senior guard has averaged 19.7 points and 6.5 rebounds per game in leading the Lady Pirates to a 4-4 record so far this season.

Week report: Perkins easily led all scorers in last week's HealthSouth Holiday Classic in which Perryville took fifth place. She scored 69 points in three games (23 ppg.), including a 26-point performance against Kelly in the first round of the consolation bracket. The three-year starter had a 24-point game against Notre Dame in the first round. The tournament's second leading scorer totaled 53 points.

Coach's comments: "I think she's become more aggressive. She has realized someone needed to score and she took on that responsibility. She's got a nice jump shot and she can drive into the lane. She loves the game of basketball. Anytime she has free time, there's a ball in her hand. That's what has made her a good ball player."
