Kiefner, White win WGA scramble

Luanna Kiefner and Janet White won the white elephant scramble at the Women's Golf Association's event last week.

Priscilla Kirby, Kathy Morris and Martha Slayton finished second, while Donna Hand, Vickie McKinney and Dana Underwood placed third.

Closest-to-the-hole winners were Betty Michel (No. 2), Kiefner (No. 6), Underwood (No. 8), Morris (No. 11), Mary Ann Vogelsang (No. 13) and Leslie Steele (No. 16).

Kern, Grady win horseshoe event

Rose Kern and Randy Grady won the SEMO Horeshoe Association event Sunday at the American Legion in Benton.

Lachelle Cook and Terri Rose finished second.

The next tournament is Sunday at the Knights of Columbus in Leopold.
