Bock, Pettet, Gieblers win golf event
The team of Lewis Bock, Jack Pettet, Paul Giebler and Brevin Giebler won the Young Life golf tournament at Dalhousie Golf Course on Monday.
The team of John Kinder, Chris Walker, Travis Blakeslee and Pete Blakeslee took second.
Greg Leet won the closest to the pin, Todd Eastin won the longest drive and Ray Doyle won the longest putt.
Cook, Grady win horseshoe event
Lachelle Cook and Randy Grady won the Southeast Missouri Horseshoe Association event at the Leopold Knights of Columbus.
Carolyn Schreckenberg and Karen Jansen placed second.
The next event is 1 p.m. Sunday at the American Legion in Benton, Mo.
Hosea, McKuin, Owen win scramble
Ken Hosea, Ben McKuin and Jason Owen won the championship flight in a two-day, three-person scramble last weekend at Kimbeland Country Club.
Dan Kasten, Phyllis Kasten and Glenn Miller won A flight; Jim Stovall, Randy Stovall and Jim Vogelsang won B flight; and Randy Balsman, Eric Balsman and AJ Balsman won C flight.
Slaten wins CGCC's Masters tournament
Steve Slaten took first place in the Cape Girardeau Country Club's annual Masters golf tournament.
Club members are teamed with PGA Tour players during the final two rounds of the Masters, and the member's two-day net scores are added with the Tour player's scores during the weekend.
Slaten, who was paired with professional Steve Flesch, finished with a 282.
Fred Ducharme, who was paired with professional Lee Westwood, finished with a 284. Bob Gile, paired with professional Nick Dougherty, was third with a 290. Jerry Brey, paired with professional Jim Furyk, shot a 292. Boyd Thomas, paired with professional Robert Karlsson, finished with a 294.
Davis wins quota tourney at Dalhousie
Lyle Davis had a plus-5 to win the Dalhousie Golf Club quota tournament. Davis was followed by George Landre (plus-3), Steve Sikes (plus-2) and Terry Bozzay (plus-1).
Robin Davis won the women's competition, while Ann Dombrowski and Deanna Estes tied for second.
