Williams, Burnett tie in Chip-A-Ways A class
Jo Ann Williams and Cissy Burnett tied for A class top honors in the Chip-A-Ways ladies golf league Tuesday at Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course.
The B class also had a tie for medalist honors between Sharon Dow and Jeana Koch.
Deanna Peterman won play of the day, which was the longest putt on No. 14. Linda Williams had the low putts for the day.
Janet White was the medalist Thursday and placed first in ladies day play at Cape Girardeau Country Club.
Jackie Griffith and Betty Michel tied for second place.
The play of the day was best nine holes.
Vicki Long was the medalist Thursday in the Ladies Golf League at Kimbeland Country Club.
In the play of the day competition, Barb Johnson won the championship flight, Sharon McCune won the A flight and Dorothy Holland won the B flight.
