AREA SPORTS BRIEFS: SPRING CLASSIC RUN
The Cape Road Runners will sponsor the 5th annual 4-Mile Spring Classic and 1-Mile Fun Run on April 25. Entry fee is $9 if registered by April 22 and $12 on race day. The first 100 runners to register will receive T-Shirts. The run, which begins at 8 a.m., will consist of nine male and six female age groups. All proceeds will benefit local law enforcement.
Entry forms are available in Cape Girardeau at the Student Rec Center, Universal Physique and Howard's. They can also be picked up at Main Street Fitness and SEMO Specialties and Sports in Jackson.
