The 16th Annual Kohlfeld Riverfest Run will be held June 12 at 7:30 p.m. in Downtown Cape Girardeau.
The 5.25-mile and one-mile events is open to participants of all ages.
The Riverfest Run, put on by the Cape Road Runners Club, has become the largest road run in Southeast Missouri as it opens the weekend festivities for the Riverfest.
Preregistration cost is $9 for individuals and $8 for Road Runner members. A family rate of $5 per person is available after the first two members pay the regular rate.
Race day registration is $12 for individuals and $5 for third and subsequent family members.
All participants receive a T-shirt.
In the 5.25-mile run, a total of $550 in U.S. Savings Bonds will be awarded to the overall winners.
Entry forms are available at the Cape Girardeau Convention and Visitors Bureau, Universal Fitness and the Arena Building.
