AREA GOLF: THREE ACES AT KIMBELAND

Kimbeland Country Club in Jackson was the scene of three holes-in-one.

Clyde Huff of Cape Girardeau used a 7-wood from the 165-yard blue tees on No. 6 to garner his third career ace. Playing partners were Clay Hunter and Dean Little.

Also on No. 6, Scobie Robert used a 6-iron from the 140-yard white tees for his first ace. He was playing with Patsy Robert.

Kevin Garland of Patton scored his first-ever hole-in-one on No. 18. Garland used a pitching wedge on the 149-yard hole. Witnesses were Ken Hosea, Mark Unger and Dennis Drerup.
