AREA GOLF: TEWIS, OSBURN, GIEBLER CARD ACES

Hugh Tewis, Morris Osburn and Brevan Giebler all fired a hole-in-one over the past several days at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

Tewis and Osburn both performed the feat on No. 13. Tewis used a 7-iron with the hole playing 145 yards. Tewis' wife, Linda, witnessed the shot along with Ken and Joan Asher.

To card his second hole-in-one this year, Osburn used a 6-iron with the hole playing 140 yards. Bill Engleman and Ken Brockett witnessed the shot.

Giebler aced No. 2, a par 3 playing 185 yards, with a 6-iron. Witnesses were Jeff Patton and George Landry.
