Johnson wins club title at Kimbeland
Barb Johnson had rounds of 76 and 78 to win the Kimbeland Country Club ladies championship by three shots.
Johnson, who led by a stroke after the first round, finished with a 154 total. Vicki Long (78-79) and Margaret Sanders (81-76) tied for second at 157. Kathy Raines (77-81) was another stroke back.
Other flight winners were Karen Heisel (A, 90-84--174), Shawna Glueck (B, 89-87--175) and Mary Cotner (C, 96-90--186).

Cook, Crowley win horseshoe event
Lachelle Cook and Richard Crowley placed first in the SEMO Horseshoe Association event Sunday at the Jackson Knights of Columbus.
Richard Conley and Edgar Stoverink finished second, while Ron LeGrand and Greg Johnson placed third.
