Teams tie for top honor

The team of Steve Logel and Tim Kelley tied the team of Ben Eller and Richard Kuntze in the scramble division of the member-member tournament at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

Logel and Kelley won the modified Chapman division and tied for first with Mel Moore and Bob Hand in the alternate shot division.

Eller and Kuntze won the best ball division.

The team of Alan Benton, David Rotolo, Vic Heisserer and Tim Blattner won the four-man team division. There was a tie for second between the team of Clint Karnes, David Morris, Mac McConnell and Chris Adkisson and the team of Moore, Hand, Ismeth Abbas and Steve Ross.

Clarification

The names of three participants in the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department's youth triathlon, kids half-miler and 1-mile run inadvertently were left off the list of finishers in Sunday's edition.

Jenya Zoughaib finished the 1-mile race in 7 minutes, 16 seconds. Addison Gahn finished the half-miler in 5:25, while Katelyn Miller finished in 4:12.
