Donahue, Long tie for medalist honors

Sissy Donahue and Vicky Long tied for medalist honors at the weekly Kimbeland Ladies golf outing.

Barb Johnson won the championship flight, Karen Heisel and Dixie Jones tied atop A flight and Sheila George won C flight.

The team of Donahue and Kathy Raines and the team of Johnson and Jones both shot 67s to tie for first in the championship flight at the Kimbeland two-lady in-club scramble.

Harriet Drusch and Karen Heisel placed third.

The team of Lillian Schneider and Sharon McCune shot a 74 to win A flight, followed by the teams of Joann Williams and Dorothy Holland (75) and Jill Braswell and Jennifer McLemore (77).

The team of Mary Cotner and George shot an 80 to win B flight followed by the teams of Patty Garrison and Shelly Bohn (82) and Wanda Verhines and Janet Verhines (83).

Brey takes home first place

Judi Brey won the 18 holes division at the weekly Cape Girardeau Country Club's Women's Golf Association's golf outing.

Marlena Jones took second, while Shirley Moore took first in the nine holes division.
