Gators swimmer Gabby Vieira completed the 1,500-meter freestyle in 18 minutes, 22.64 seconds, the nation's third-fastest time in the girls 12-year olds division at the Fishers Area Summer Jam Invitational meet in Indiana.
Vieira boasts top-10 times for her division in the 200 freestyle (2:11.36, fourth best), 100 backstroke (1:09.45, 10th best), 200 backstroke (2:29.39, 10th best), 100 butterfly (1:06.86, fifth best), 200 butterfly (2:30.55, seventh best) and 400 individual medley (5:19.53, eighth best).
Madeline Siefert completed the 100 breaststroke in 1:21.51 to qualify for the USA Swimming Central Zone championships.
Caitlyn Palmer broke the Gators record in the 50 butterfly for 11 and 12 year olds by touching the wall in 30.96.
The Gators finished with 969.5 points to grab ninth out of 29 teams.
