Cape Girardeau's Dennis Underwood used a 9-iron to score an ace on hole No. 4 at Kimbeland Country Club.

The hole was playing 140 yards.

William Zickfield witnessed the shot.

Underwood also scored a double-eagle on hole No. 13 during an earlier round. Glen Harter, Nick Harter and Rich Baker witnessed the shot.

Brey earns medalist honors

Judi Brey captured medalist honors at the Cape Girardeau Country Club's Women's Golf Association's weekly outing.

Mary Sue Layton took first place, while Linda Tewis and Janet White tied for second.
