Westrich defeats Pratt for title

Nick Westrich beat Wyatt Pratt in a putt-off to win the boys 12 and 13 nine holes division at the Gateway Junior PGA Series tournament at Bent Creek Golf Club.

Both Westrich and Pratt shot 46s.

Nick Woolard enjoyed a three-shot advantage over Ryan West in the boys 16 to 19 18 holes Tour division when play was stopped.

Rain forced the cancellation of portions of the 18-hole regular and Tour divisions.

Senciboy, Cook team for team

Randy Senciboy and Lachelle Cook combined to win the SEMO Horseshoe Association's seven-team tournament at the Backyard Club.

Mike DaVault and Danny Williams placed second, while James Hillis and Terrie Rose were third.

The team of Randy Grady and Carolyn Schreckenberg won the 20-team tournament at the Oran Knights of Columbus.

Edgar Stoverink and Rose finished second, Virgil Schreckenberg and Dawn Morrow grabbed third, while Tim Bryant and Cook were fourth.

The next tournament is scheduled for Saturday at the Scott City Knights of Columbus.
