Cody Stevens and Travis Simmons both shot 79s to tie for first place in the 14- and 15-year olds tour 18 holes division at Wednesday's Gateway Junior PGA Series event at Kennett Country Club.

Cody Cox and Derrick Garner both shot 81s to tie for third.

Jake Russell shot a 70 to win the 16 to 19 tour 18 holes division.

Saxony players earn all-district

Three Saxony Lutheran girls soccer players earned first-team Class 1 District 1 all-district honors.

Senior midfielder Katie Winter, junior forward Brooke Valleroy and freshman defender Lauren Hecht were honored.
