Otahks' Bagby-Leonard wins OVC softball award

Southeast Missouri State University junior first baseman Alana Bagby-Leonard is the Ohio Valley Conference Player of the Week.

Bagby-Leonard, a transfer from Gulf Coast Community College, batted .423 (11-for-26) over the past week with a home run, four runs scored and six runs batted in.

Southeast home tennis opener rescheduled

Southeast Missouri State University's women's tennis team rescheduled its home opener against Tennessee State originally set for today. The match will be April 4.

With the threat of rain and no indoor backup, Southeast coach Mike Stevens said he did not want the Tigers making the four-hour trip with the possibility of not playing.

The Otahkians' first home match will be March 29 against Eastern Kentucky.
