Kristian Troxel finished third in the 400-meter IM to lead the Gator Swim Team qualifiers at the 2011 Speedo Champions Series meet in Oklahoma City, Okla., last weekend.
Troxel had a time of 4 minutes, 41.60 seconds, which qualified him for the 2011 NCSA Junior National Swimming Championships in Orlando, Fla., later this month. Troxel also finished fourth in the 1,500 freestyle, sixth in the 800 freestyle and eighth in both the 200 butterfly and 800 freestyle.
Kyleigh Troxel also had a top-eight finish, placing fourth in the 1,500 freestyle.
Turning in top 16 finishes were Caleb Coots (13th, 400 freestyle; 14th, 1,500 freestyle; 15th, 800 freestyle), Caitlyn Palmer (15th, 100 butterfly) and Allison Hobbs (16h, 200 backstroke).
Josh Johnson claimed the Indoor Triathlon held last weekend at Fitness Plus.
Johnson completed the 300-yard swim, 2-mile run and 5-mile stationary bike ride in 32 minutes, 7 seconds.
Kate Wayman finished first among females in 37:36.

Gunnar Knudtson recently won the Plantations Tour golf tournament at Forest Park Golf Club in St. Louis.
Knudtson shot a 78-70--148 to win the boys 16 to 19 division.
Notre Dame Regional High School graduate Danny Dohogne recently was inducted into the East Central Junior College hall of fame.
Dohogne earned second-team NJCAA All-American honors as a sophomore on the East Central Junior College basketball team.
Dohogne helped lead Notre Dame to back-to-back state titles, and his high school career field-goal percentage of 71 percent ranks second all-time in Missouri.
