Sissy Donahue and Susan Miller won the scramble event in the Wednesday Night Ladies League at Kimbeland Country Club.

The teams of Gayle Gohram and Dee Johnson, Vickie Dye and Shawna Glueck, and Harriett Drusch and Dixie Jones tied for second.

Cathy Kight won closest to the pin, while Vickie Dye won the longest putt.

Beck wins Gateway Junior Series event

Aaron Beck shot a 75 to win the boys 16 to 19 Tour division at the Gateway PGA Junior Series event Wednesday at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

Beck edged Ryan West, who shot a 76.

Nick Westrich shot a 77 to win the boys 14 and 15 Tour division.

Samantha Hightower shot a 74 to post a 14-shot victory in the girls 16 to 19 Tour division. Analiese Pyland shot 97 to win the girls 14-15 Tour division.

Jaden Hightower finished at 74 to win the boys age 12-13 regular 18-hole division. Other regular 18-hole winners were Peyton Bell (85, boys 14-15) and Colton Carpenter (73 (boys 16-19).

Nine-hole winners were Alex Wiseman (45, boys 10-11), Ella Bell (64, girls 10-11), Trevor Bradley (44, boys 12-13), Taryn Bell (101, girls 12-13), Dalton Duvall (66, boys 14-18) and Peyton Bradley (41, girls 14-15).

Ockovic fires ace at Dalhousie

Wayne Ockovic of O'Fallon, Illinois, carded his third career hole-in-one recently at Dalhousie Golf Club.

Ockovic used a 6-iron to ace No. 11, a par 3 playing 169 yards. Witnesses were Bob Santanello, Conor Keeley and Mason Wetzel.
