Buffington, Hammes win Homecomers 5K

Betsy Buffington and Kevin Hammes were the overall winners at the Jackson Homecomer 5K run.

Buffington covered the course in 23 minutes, 50 seconds to finish first among the women. Hammes ran 18:02 to lead the men.

Chesea Drum (6:41) and William Zoubhaib (6:14) were the 1-mile run winners.
