Matthews wins division with 92
Emily Matthews shot a 92 to finish first in the 18-hole tour girls 16 to 19 division of the PGA Gateway Junior Series.
The event was held at Hidden Trails in Dexter.
Jessica Houseman was second with a 105.
In the boys 16 to 19 18-hole tour division, Jack Connell took first with an 88, followed by Caleb Moss (89) and Aaron Griffin (91) and Brett Slaten (91).

Swinford, Hill team to win flight
Ken Swinford and Terry Hill joined to win the St. Andrews flight at the 2008 Gentleman's Invitational golf tournament at Dalhousie Golf Club.
The format was handicap match play with five nine-hole matches in two days.
Brevin Giebler and Steve Byrd won the Prestwick flight, Mike Pashia and Marvin Frazier won the Carnoustie flight, Jim Goad and David Nelms won the Muirfield flight, Brock Alspaugh and Mike Alspaugh won the Royal Troon flight, Rob Mitchell and Dennis Barnes won the Turnberry flight, Boyd Lumsden and Marty Bonneson won the Royal Birkdale flight and Rick Miller and Dwight Knowles won the Royal St. George's flight.
Dennis Spencer had a hole in one on No. 5, while Craig Kight aced No. 13.
