Rick Hetzel used a 7-iron to score a hole in one on the 157-yard hole No. 3 at Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course on Thursday.

Brey, Drusch capture first place

Judi Brey and Harriet Drusch took first place in the championship flight at the Cape Girardeau Country Club's Women's Golf Association's weekly outing.

Christy Boulder and Kathy Morris took second.

In the A-flight, Jackie Griffith and Susan Vickery took first place, followed by Jan Welkharber and Helen Ruth Towns.

Jarrell records hole in one

Jerry Jarrell used a 5-iron to record a hole in one on the 164-yard hole No. 6 at Kimbeland Country Club recently.
