Trio wins scrambleat Dalhousie
The team of Deanna Estes, Phyllis Seabaugh and Kay Tolliver won a scramble Thursday at Ladies Day at Dalhousie Golf Club.
The threesome shot a 74 to finish two strokes ahead of the team of Linda Tewis, Mary Jane Eftink and Nancy Settles.
The team of Ann Dombrowski, Kim Swartz and Betty DeWitt placed third with a 79.
Jones earns medalistat Cape Country Club
Marlena Jones was medalist at the Women's Golf Association event at Cape Girardeau Country Club.
Judi Brey won the play of the day -- Most One Putts. Mary Alice Regenhardt placed second, while Jackie Griffith, Mary Sue Layton and Beth Mapes tied for third.
In the Twilight event, Deb Mealy and Dana Underwood tied for first with the team of Judi Brey, Ben Rickard and Marcia Wagner.
Blechle is medalist at Chip-A-Ways event
Carolyn Blechle was the A flight winner at the Chip-A-Ways event at Cape Jaycee Munipal Golf Course.
Dottie Gill won B flight, while Liz Grimes and Glenda Franklin tied for first in C flight.
Ellen Haas posted the low-putt total and Linda Williams won play of the day.
