Prater, Ladd tie for title at Quota Tournament
Neil Prater and Todd Ladd tied for first at the Quota Tournament held Sunday at Dalhousie Golf Club.
Dean Short, Ken Asher and Tom Hamilton finished tied for third.
St. Louis golfer cards an ace at Dalhousie
Jim Swarts of St. Louis recently sank a hole in one at Dalhousie Golf Club.
Swarts performed the feat with a 7-iron on No. 11, a par 3 playing 157 yards. Witnesses were Roger Tolliver, Todd Miller and John Layton.
Stupples places fourth at LPGA's Rail Classic
Dalhousie touring professional Karen Stupples had her highest finish on the LPGA Tour last weekend at the State Farm Rail Classic in Springfield, Ill.
Stupples, who shot rounds of 69, 69 and 68 for a 204 total in the rain-shortened tournament, placed fourth, four shots behind Candie Kung. Stupples, an English golfer contracted as a touring professional for Dalhousie, ranks 31st on the tour's money list with more than $289,000.
