Oberlohr team captures afternoon title
The team of Ken Oberlohr, Bryan Millman, Todd Smith and Todd Ladd took first place in the afternoon championship flight at the Notre Dame Fall Golf Classic at Dalhousie Golf Club.
The team of John Wiggins, David Rotolo, Larry McKinney and Mark Allen was second, followed by the team of Mark Kohlfeld, Chris Janet, David Cantrell and Tim Welter.
In the morning championship flight, the team of Keith Holloway, Brian Stevens, Doug Leible and Dennis Roth captured first place. The team of Scott Roe, David Roberts, Debbie Euddy and Everett Hey placed second, followed by the team of Glenn Campbell, David Lynch, Darrell Cink and Drew Thorton.
In the afternoon A flight, the team of Keith Holloway, Doug Leible, Jack Pettet and Tammy Pettet took home first place. The team of Von Priggel, Danny Dumey, Cory Siebert and Paul Seyer placed second, and the team of Rick Ross, Bill Sellers, Tom Fowler and Matt Vollink finished third.
In the morning A flight, the team of Paul Unterreiner, Renee Peters, Tim Drury and Jeff Reinagel finished first. Finishing second was the team of Kevin Greaser, Gene Meyer, Tom Fowler and Mac McDonald, followed by the team of Dennis Whittenborn, Andy Whittenborn, Jay Whittenborn and Pat Whittenborn.
The afternoon B flight was paced by the team of Gary Pewitt, Randy Heitt, Rick Hagendorn and Susan Vickery. The team of Mike Baker, Todd Bonacki, Donna Wheeler and Julie L'Hote captured second, while the team of Kevin Roberts, Roy Roberts, Jerry Wise and Jason Harrell finished third.
In the morning B flight, the team of Blake Heuring, Sarah Rolves, Kyle Shaffer and Mike Shaffer placed first. The team of Dick Dirnberger, Paul Dirnberger, Mark Dirnberger and Steve Dirnberger finished second, while the team of Jim Maurer, Don Maurer, Ron Maurer and Gary Lynch took third.
Broyden scores hole in one
Anita Jo Broyden used a 7-iron to score an ace on hole No. 4 at Kimbeland Country Club.
The hole played 105 yards.
Glenda Pellham, Margaret Sanders and Martha Johnson witnessed the shot.
Grady, Stoverink win title
The team of Randy Grady and Cori Stoverink took first place in the Southeast Missouri Horseshoe Association's final tournament of the year.
Rose Kern and Melody Williams took second, followed by Chris Fields and Charlie Urhahn.
Joe Beam Scharonborg and Doris Stubenrauch were inducted into the hall of fame.
Lachelle Cook was the highest trophy point winner for the second consecutive year, while Carolyn Schreckenberg was second.
The most improved player trophy went to James Hillis.
