Benefit Golf Tournament: The Community Counseling Center Foundation will host its 13th annual Benefit Golf Tournament on Oct. 5 at Cape Girardeau Country Club. Redhawks Run: The inaugural River Eagle Redhawks Run will be Oct. 13. The 5K race from Houck Stadium starts at 2:30 p.m. with registration beginning at 1:30 p.m. Participants receive a ticket to that night's Southeast Missouri State football game against Tennessee State, a Nike Dri-Fit T-shirt and a chance to create a fan tunnel for the Redhawks' entry onto the field. There is a finish line tailgate party with free food and beverages. Early entry of $25 is due by Sept. 7. Cost is $30 after Sept. 7.
