* Cardinals tickets: The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a trip to the St. Louis Cardinals game against the Milwaukee Brewers at 1:15 p.m. May 8. Cost: $25 per ticket and an additional $20 for those planning to ride the charter bus to the game. Info: 339-6340.

* Jackson camps: Jackson boys basketball coach Darrin Scott will hold individual skills camps. There will be a camp May 16 to 19 at the junior high. Players in grades 2 and 3 will go from 4:30 to 6 p.m., and players in grades 4 to 6 will go from 6:30 to 8 p.m. There will be a camp June 20 to 23 at the high school. Players in grades kindergarten to 2 will go from 8:30 to 10 a.m., players in grades 3 to 6 will go from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and players in grades 7 and 8 will go from 1 to 3 p.m. There will be a camp Aug. 1 to 4 at the high school. Players in grades kindergarten to 2 will go from 8:30 to 10 a.m., players in grades 3 to 6 will go from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., and players in grades 7 and 8 will go from 1 to 3 p.m. Cost: $40 per camp for preregistered and $50 per camp at the door.
Golf
* Southeast Booster Club tournament: The 28th annual Southeast Missouri State Booster Club tournament will be held May 16 at Cape Girardeau Country Club. The tournament, which is in honor of Booster Club co-founder Charlie Brune, is a four-person scramble. Lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m., with tee time at 12:30 p.m. Cost: $100 per player.
