* Southeast baseball scramble: The Southeast Missouri State baseball program will hold its annual golf scramble April 19 at Bent Creek Golf Course in Jackson. The Baseball Golf Extravaganza is limited to 32 teams and costs $175 per player or $700 per team. Entry fee includes Redhawks apparel, lunch, refreshments and practice balls. Scramble starts with lunch at 10:30 a.m., followed by a noon tee time and an auction and raffle at 5 p.m. Cost per raffle ticket is $5 or five tickets for $20. * Cape Shrine Club tournament: The annual Cape Shrine Club four-person scramble will take place May 21 at Bent Creek Golf Course in Jackson. Cost: $80 per person, which includes lunch and prizes. Lunch will be served at noon and followed by a 1 p.m. shotgun start. Info: Eddie Schreiner, 243-5503.

* Capahas auction: The annual Plaza Tire Capahas auction will be April 10 at the American Legion Hall on Thomas Drive in Cape Girardeau. Doors open at 8:30 a.m., with the auction beginning at 9 a.m. A wide variety of items will be auctioned off, with proceeds benefiting the Capahas, among the nation's oldest amateur baseball teams. Running
* Endurance run: The Howard L. Aslinger Foundation endurance run will take place Friday and Saturday at the 4-H Building in Arena Park. There will be a 24-hour run, 12-hour run and 1-hour run. The 24-hour run and 12-hour night run will begin at 7 p.m. Friday. The 12-hour day run will begin at 7 a.m. Saturday, and the 1-hour run will begin at 6 p.m. Saturday. It will be held on a flat 1-mile paved course. Cost: $100 for the 24-hour race, $75 for the 12-hour race, $40 for the 1-hour race. Info: Bryan Kelpe, 979-4021.
* Youth Track Club: The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor the Youth Track Club for boys and girls ages 6 to 14. Practices will begin 5 p.m. Tuesday at Central Junior High School and will be conducted Tuesday and Thursday evenings. There will be nine meets, including the season-ending Hershey Track Meet where participants can qualify for the state competition. Cost: $45, which includes a T-shirt. Info: 339-6340.

* ASA rules meeting: An ASA softball rules meeting will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Osage Community Centre. The meeting is open to all umpires and coaches. Info: Bob Garner, 334-7054.
* Girls league: The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will offer a girls softball league for girls ages 5 to 15 this summer. All games, which run from the end of May through July, will be played at Arena Park. Players ages 9 to 15 need to attend a preseason skills test. The test will be conducted from 5 to 7:30 p.m. April 8 and 12 at Shawnee Park; 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 17 at Arena Park. Players should be ready to play at the skills test. Coaches also are needed for the league. Cost: $50 per player. Deadline: April 17. Registration forms are available at the A.C. Triathlon
* Steamboat Classic: The 26th annual Steamboat Classic triathlon will take place at 9 a.m. April 25 at the Central Municipal Pool. The race consists of a 450-meter swim, 15.5-mile bike and 5-mile run. Participants may compete as individuals or as part of a relay team. Cost: $40 for individual through April 9, $50 from April 10 to 22 and $55 day of race; $45 for teams through April 9; $55 from April 10 to 22 and $60 day of race.
