Baseball

* Coaches clinic: The Baseball Coaches Winter Warmup clinic will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. It is open to baseball coaches of all ages and levels. Cost: $30, which includes lunch. Info: Steve Williams, 979-6986.

* Jackson league registration: The Jackson Boys Baseball League will hold registration from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 26, 1 to 4 p.m. Feb. 27 and 6 to 8 p.m. March 2 at the Jackson City Hall community room, which is located on the third floor above the library. Forms also are available at www.jblbaseball.org.

Running

* Mardi Gras 5K: The Notre Dame FCCLA will hold its third annual Mardi Gras 5K walk/run at 9 a.m. March 5 at the St. Vincent de Paul Center. Registration will be from 8 to 8:45 a.m. Cost: $12 by Feb. 25 or $15 after. There will be a 1-mile fun run for children 12 and younger after the 5K. Cost: $7. Info: Tanya Davis, 335-6772 ext. 501.

Volleyball

* Co-ed tournament: The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will host the 14th annual Osage Invitational co-ed tournament at 11 a.m. Feb. 27 at the Osage Centre. Cost: $60 per team. Deadline: Noon Feb. 24. Info: Brian Schlichting, 339-6736.
