Perryville men's league forming: The Perryville Parks and Recreation Department wiil have an informational meeting at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Perry Park Center for anyone interested in getting a team together for the upcoming fall season. Info: Brian Roth, 547-7275.Football

Cape youth league: Registration for Cape Youth Tackle Football will be 8 a.m. to noon Saturday and Sept. 4 in Capaha Park at the corner of Perry Avenue and Broadway. The league is open to boys in fifth, sixth and seventh grades. Info: Jeff Brune, 334-6075.

Punt, Pass and Kick: The Cape Girardeau NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition will be 1-3 p.m. Sept. 26 at the Cape Central Junior High School football field. The competition is open to boys and girls ages 8 to 15 as of Dec. 31, 2004. Entry is free of charge, and participants may register on the same day. Kimbeland tournament: Kimbeland Country Club is hosting a two-man, three-way tournament Sept. 3. Twenty-seven holes and three different formats. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. Entry fee is $35 per player, which includes prizes and lunch but not the cart. Info: 243-3923.

Tourney benefits students: The alumni from the Southeast Missouri State Department of Health, Human Performance and Recreation are sponsoring a golf tournament Sept. 25 to benefit scholarships for students in the department. Event begins 8 a.m. at Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course. Four-person scramble will be flighted. Cost is $50 per person or $200 per team. Info: 651-2197.

Coed fall league: The Perryville Parks and Recreation Department is accepting teams for an adult coed slow-pitch league that will begin in early September. Participants must be at least 17 years old. Volleyball

Coed indoor league: The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department is accepting teams for a 6-on-6 Coed Adult Indoor Volleyball League to be played on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings at Osage Community Centre.
