Central summer camp: The Central Tigers Baseball Camps will include three sessions: fundamentals, Tuesday-May 28; hitting, June 1-3; and pitching/catching, June 1-3. All will take place at the Central baseball field. Fundamentals camp has morning classes for grades 5-8 and afternoon classes for grades K-4 and costs $50. Students in grades 3-8 can attend hitting classes and/or pitching and catching. Info: 335-8467.

Plaza Tire Capahas camp: The Plaza Tire Capahas summer baseball team will have a camp June 7-8 for boys and girls ages 8-17. Sessions will be 8 a.m.-noon both days at Capaha Field. Instructors include Capahas manager Jess Bolen and his players, Southeast Missouri State University coaches and local high school coaches. All campers will receive a Capahas logo T-shirt. Cost is $65 per camper. Enrollment is limited and a special registration will be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday and noon-3 p.m. Sunday at Westfield Shoppingtown West Park. Info: 335-6644.

Football

Central summer camps: Central High School will offer three camps -- team camps, June 7-9 and July 26-29, with 6-8 p.m. sessions at the high school for athletes entering grades 9-12 who plan to play football ($10 fee for each); June 28-July 1 Tiger Football School, 9-11 a.m. sessions at the junior high for athletes in grades 5-8 ($15 fee). Softball

Summer camp: The Central High School softball camps will be May 31-June 4 (skills camp) and June 4-5 (pitching camp) and is open to students entering grades 4-12. The fees are $30 for the skills camp and $25 for the pitching camp. Info: 335-8467.

Tennis

Free clinic: The Cape Area Tennis Association is offering a free youth tennis clinic Saturday at the Southeast Missouri State University tennis courts, Sprigg and Bertling. Volleyball
