Jackson league: The Jackson baseball league will hold registration at the Jackson Community Room at the Jackson Public Library. Registration sessions will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 25, 1 to 5 p.m. Feb. 26 and 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 29. Registrations also are accepted at jblbaseball.org. Info: Mark Winder, 225-6066.

Miscellaneous

Sunbeams Clinic: The Southeast Missouri Sundancers will hold their annual Sunbeams Clinic on Saturday. The clinic offers dance instruction for girls and boys ages 4 through 12. The Sunbeams will perform at halftime of the 7:30 p.m. men's basketball game against Tennessee State as part of Rowdy's birthday celebration. Cost: $35 and includes Sunbeams shirt, Sundancers poster, snack and admission to the game. Info: Tatianna Parham, 270-9720.

Running

Mardi Gras run: The Notre Dame FCCLA will sponsor its fourth annual Mardi Gras 5K, 10K run and 5K walk at the St. Vincent de Paul Center. The race will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday. Race-day registration will be from 8 to 8:45 a.m. Cost: $20 on race day. There will be a 1-mile fun run after the 5K. Cost: $10. Info: Tanya Davis, 335-6772 ext. 501. Softball

Southeast winter clinic: The Southeast Missouri State softball program will hold its winter clinic for pitching, hitting and catching from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday and Feb. 5. Cost $65. For more information, call 651-2993 or email Hallie Blackney at hblackney@semo.edu.

Jackson league: The Jackson girls softball league, for girls ages 5 to 18, will hold registration at Nearly Perfect Shoes in Jackson. The registration dates will be 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 11 and Feb. 18 and 5 to 8 p.m. Feb. 23. Cost: $45 for T-ball and coach pitch; $50 for 10U and 12U; $55 for 14U and 18U. Wrestling

Little league sign-ups: The Jackson boys Optimist wrestling little league for boys in kindergarten through sixth grade will run from Feb. 20 to March 21. There will be a tournament March 22 to 24. Registration for the league will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday in the Jackson High School multipurpose gymnasium.
