AREA BRIEFS: SHAWNEE SOFTBALL TOURNAMENTS

Several men's and coed slow-pitch softball tournaments will be held in the upcoming weeks and months at the Shawnee Park Sports Complex in Cape Girardeau.

On June 12, the 2nd annual Budweiser Classic Invitational men's Class `D' and `E' tournament will be held. Entry fee is $100.

On June 19, the 2nd annual Miller Lite Invitational Men's and Coed Softball Tournament will be held. Entry fee is $100.

On Aug. 21, the 2nd annual Coors Light Invitational men's Class `A' and `B' tournament will be held. Entry fee is $100.

All of the tournaments have a cash prize and trophies to the top three placers.
