AREA BRIEFS: SAINT FRANCIS TO HOLD CHILDREN'S FUN RUN OCT. 16

Saint Francis Medical Center will hold its Children's Fun Run Oct. 16 on the hospital grounds.

The race is open to children in kindergarten through 6th grade. Every participant will receive a T-shirt as well as a medal and treat bag. Registration cost is $8 and should be received no later than Oct. 1.

The 1-mile fun run/walk raises money for the Saint Francis Foundation's Children Helping Children Fund.
