Outlook: Rivals Chaffee and Scott City had a tight game last year, when the Red Devils won by two points, breaking a 21-game winning streak by the Rams. Scott City coach Ronnie Jones said his defense must keep a close eye on Red Devils quarterback Aaron Horrell, who has completed 37-of-59 passes for 457 yards. He has thrown for five touchdowns and one interception. Chaffee receiver Trenton Horman has caught 19 passes for 240 yards. Chaffee has had 12 turnovers in four games. Scott City's Caleb Gray enters with 59 carries for 309 yards.

Hazelwood Central (3-1) at Jackson (2-2)

Last week: Jackson 35, Sikeston 14; Hazelwood Central 35, Ritenour 15

Last year: The two teams did not play in 2007.

Outlook: Hazelwood Central, a Class 6 school, enters tonight's game against the Indians with a 3-1 record. It has posted victories over Class 4 University City, Class 6 Rock Bridge and Class 6 Ritenour. Its only loss was a 24-2 decision to Hazelwood East, the fourth-ranked team in Class 5. Hazelwood Central running back Maurice Scott has 462 yards rushing, averaging 7.5 yards per carry.

Central (0-4) at Sikeston (2-2)

Last week: Farmington 55, Central 12; Jackson 35, Sikeston 14

Last year's meeting: Central 27, Sikeston 20

Outlook: Central coach Rich Payne said his team must keep a close eye on Sikeston running back Eli Jackson, who has rushed for 641 yards (8.78 per carry, 160.39 yards per game). Tigers tailback Cantrell Andrews has 550 yards rushing and six touchdowns.

St. Pius (Festus) (0-4) at St. Vincent (1-3)

Last week: Chaffee 24, St. Pius X (Festus) 20; Maplewood 42, St. Vincent 0

Last year's meeting: St. Pius 22, St. Vincent 21

Outlook: St. Vincent has lost on the road the last two weeks to state-ranked teams: Valle Catholic, No. 8 in Class 1, and Maplewood, No. 1 in Class 2. The Indians look to get back on track at home this week against a winless St. Pius team. The Lancers' four-point loss to Chaffee last week was the first time this season they lost by less than 10 points.

Perryville (1-3) at Potosi (3-1)

Last week: Park Hills Central 24, Perryville 21; Potosi 35, Herculaneum 7

Last year's meeting: Potosi 22, Perryville 20

Outlook: Perryville enters tonight coming off three consecutive losses. Potosi's loss was a one-point decision at Pacific, the only team Perryville has beaten this year. This will be Potosi's homecoming game. Trojans running back Brandon Bourbon ripped through Herculaneum for 196 yards and three touchdowns.
