What has been your greatest accomplishment as an athlete?: Winning the conference and setting the course record. Oh, and winning fifth at state

What has been your greatest disappointment as an athlete?: Working so hard for three months and only running an 18-minute 5K at the Saxony Invite

The longest distance I've ever run: 12 miles

One thing most people don't understand about cross country running: It takes mental ability more than physical. You can be more athletic than M.J., but without the right mindset you won't go anywhere

Why run when you can walk (what inspires you to run)?: Running is faster than walking

Running is: Free. Not just with money, but life. No matter what, with a working set of legs you can run and be free

Favorite memory from the season: Farmington meet. We beat a lot of big schools and the atmosphere was electric

What has been your greatest accomplishment as an athlete?: Breaking any mental barrier in my path, and being able to spread the love of running to underclassmen

What has been your greatest disappointment as an athlete?: Not being all-state my sophomore and junior years. Not working hard in my early running stages

The longest distance I've ever run: 12.2 miles

One thing most people don't understand about cross country running: We are a rare breed, due to that we have weird rituals and fashion sense. And that no matter who you are, or how hard you run, we are all family

Why run when you can walk (what inspires you to run)?: It's a great way to clear my head and lead a healthy life

Running is: The most raw form of competition there is. All it takes is all you got
