PERRYVILLE -- William Andrew Perkins, 77, of Perryville, died Wednesday, April 12, 1995, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born Feb. 18, 1918, at Brown Station, son of Henry Harrison and Mamie Calvert Perkins. He and Laura Alice Vanlandingham were married Feb. 13, 1941.

Perkins was owner/operator of Landmark Gas Co. He was a member of First Baptist Church, 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason, past master of Saline Lodge 226 AF&AM in St. Marys, past patron of Order of Eastern Star 338, former Chapter Dad of Perryville DeMolay, and member of National Shoot-to Retrieve Field Trial Association. He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Randall Perkins of Perryville; a sister, Fern Chick of Matlock, Iowa, and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three brothers.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. today, and Friday after 6:30 a.m. A Masonic wake will be held at 7 tonight.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Gerold McBride officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery.
