PERRYVILLE, Mo. — Ralph H. Cowan, 84, of Perryville died Saturday, May 10, 2008, at Perry Oaks Manor.
He was born March 15, 1924, at Gerald, Mo., son of William and Emma Heuther Cowan. Cowan retired as supervisor with Missouri Highway Department. He was a member of Masons, Shriners, VFW, AmVets and UTC United.
He was a World War II veteran of the U.S. Army.
Survivors include a son, Herb Cowan of Temple, Texas; a granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to service time today at Young and Sons Funeral Home.
The service will be at 8 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Matthews officiating. Burial will be Wednesday at Mid Lawn Memorial Gardens in Union, Mo.
