MARBLE HILL, Mo. -- Oneta Lucille Abernathy, 79, of Marble Hill passed away Monday, July 8, 2013, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Nov. 7, 1933, in Grassy, Mo., daughter of Losin William and Zoa E. Deck Buchholtz.
She and Roy Abernathy were married in August 1966.
Lucille attended Little Vine School. She was a CNA many years at Woodland Hills, and was of the Baptist belief.
Survivors include her husband, Roy of the home; a daughter, Lori Abernathy of Marble Hill; and two sisters, Glenna Hohler and Mabel Buchholtz of Jackson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Loyd and Lowell Buchholtz; and two infant sisters.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
