Nelson Campbell, 82, of Lebanon, Ohio, died Monday, May 10, 2004, in Lebanon.
He was born Aug. 29, 1921, in Cape Girardeau, son of Carl and Myrtle Childs Campbell. He married Rose Mary Greenwell.
Campbell was a graduate of Central High School and St. Louis Business College. He retired as superintendent of Texas Eastern Pipeline, Lebanon Products Terminal. He was a member of Lebanon American Legion.
He served with the U.S. Army Air Corps in the South Pacific during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Bunny Arnett of Mason, Ohio; two sons, Greg Campbell of South Lebanon, Ohio, Scott Campbell of Lebanon; a brother, Kenneth Campbell of Cape Girardeau; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Thursday at Lebanon Cemetery, with the Rev. Steve Tufts officiating.
Stine-Kilburn Funeral Home in Lebanon is in charge of arrangements.
