PERRYVILLE -- Martha Elva Klaus, 75, of Perryville died Thursday, May 8, 1997, at her home.
She was born Feb. 10, 1922, in Chicago, daughter of the Rev. Paul and Meta Sievers Guelzow. She and Harold F. Klaus were married Oct. 29, 1943.
Klaus was a registered nurse, and member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her husband; five sons, Harold Klaus Jr. of Carlsbad, N.M., Gene Klaus of Murray, Ky., Karl Klaus of Perryville, Paul Klaus of Cape Girardeau, Kurt Klaus of Nashville, Tenn.; a daughter, Robin McManus of Belleville, Ill.; two sisters, Joan Benken of Madison, Conn., Faith Collins of Ironton; 11 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, stepmother, and a brother.
Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 5-9 p.m. today, and Saturday from 6:30-8:30 a.m.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Immanuel Church.
