Mark Michael Farrar, 55, of St. Louis, formerly of Cape Girardeau, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014, at St. Luke's Hospital in St. Louis.
He was born March 17, 1959, in Cape Girardeau, to Eugene C. and Patricia V. Rooney Farrar.
Mark was a 1977 graduate of Central High School. He and his brother operated Farrar Home Improvement of St. Louis. He was of the Catholic belief.
Survivors include his father, Gene (Barb) Farrar of Cape Girardeau; mother, Pat. V. Farrar of Cape Girardeau; two daughters, Heather (Phillip) Foltz of Denver and Brittany Farrar of St. Louis; a brother, Brad (Annette) Farrar of Jackson; two sisters, Susan L. (Kevin) Stanfield of Cape Girardeau and Kim (Alvin) Frank of Chaffee, Missouri; two grandchildren, Kaleb and Rylan Foltz; and his beloved pet, Chloe.
Mark was preceded in death by his grandparents.
Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. William Hennecke officiating.
