LENA JOHNSON

GLEN ALLEN -- Funeral service for Lena "Maxine" Johnson of Glen Allen will be held at 2 p.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Rev. Fred Shrum will officiate, with burial in Glen Allen Cemetery.

Johnson, 75, died Tuesday, May 17, 1994, at Auventine Retirement and Nursing Care in Fenton.

She was born Feb. 18, 1919, at Glen Allen, daughter of Thomas and Clara Ida Funke Myrick. She and Harley E. "Joe" Johnson were married Nov. 7, 1942.

Johnson was a member of Glen Allen United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Jo Ann Locher of Webster Groves, Nancy Johnson of Marble Hill; three brothers, Lester Myrick of Cocoa Beach, Fla., Henry Myrick of St. Louis, Lenard Myrick of St. James; two sisters, Bernice Kinnison of Glen Allen, and Cecile DeWitt of St. Clair.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.
