POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Kathern M. Rhodes, 63, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at her home. She was born Aug. 8, 1937, at Silva, Mo. She and C.L. "Buck" Rhodes were married Feb. 20, 1960. Rhodes had been a salesperson at Wood's Clothing Store in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church at Silva, and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 337 at Greenville, Mo...

POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Kathern M. Rhodes, 63, of Poplar Bluff died Thursday, Feb. 8, 2001, at her home.

She was born Aug. 8, 1937, at Silva, Mo. She and C.L. "Buck" Rhodes were married Feb. 20, 1960.

Rhodes had been a salesperson at Wood's Clothing Store in Poplar Bluff. She was a member of New Hope Baptist Church at Silva, and Order of Eastern Star Chapter 337 at Greenville, Mo.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Paula Bierman of Jackson, Mo., Pamela Smith of Poplar Bluff; two brothers, Carroll Rainwater of Greenville, Harold Rainwater of Piedmont, Mo.; and four grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ruegg Funeral Home in Greenville from 5-9 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Dan Ross will officiate. Burial will be in Greenville Cemetery.
