John Biler

CHAFFEE, Mo. -- John Edward Biler, 89, son of the late Eugene and Luella Thompson Biler, was born July 22, 1932, in Lilbourn, Missouri, and departed his life Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at his home in Chaffee.

On Jan. 22, 1955, he was united in marriage to Donna Lee Denton in Chaffee. She preceded him in death.

John was a veteran of the United States Army and a former crane operator for R.B. Potashnick International in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include two sons, John David Biler of Benton, Missouri, and Edward Prentis Biler of Morehouse, Missouri; three daughters, Deborah (Billy) Watson, Ann (Frank) McCall and Linda (Jerry) Boren, all of Jackson; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Besides his wife and parents, John was preceded in death by two brothers, Gene and Bill Biler; a sister, JoAnn Reiminger; and a grandson, Andrew Biler.

Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
