BLODGETT, Mo. -- Jane Minner, 81, of Blodgett passed away Saturday, Jan. 24, 2015, at her home.

She was born Jan. 16, 1934, in Osceola, Arkansas, the daughter of Louis Franklin and Estie Lee Simpson Stowers.

She had worked for the Kenny Rogers Cerebral Palsy Center in Sikeston, Missouri, for 20 years as a physical therapy supervisor.

She is survived by three sons, Jeff Minner of Blodgett, Ron Minner of Arnold, Missouri, and Dennis Minner of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; a daughter, Susan Freed of Sikeston; three brothers, Gary, Jim and Al Stowers, all of Janesville, Wisconsin; a sister, Christine Bollinger of Blodgett; four grandchildren, Dennis Minner Jr., Susan Beth Taylor, Bo Minner and Dalton Freed; and four great-grandchildren, Ally and Noah Taylor and Bella and Kinley Minner.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Louis Stowers; and a sister, Gladys Bechel.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Benton, Missouri.

The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Dennis Lowe officiating. Burial will be in Blodgett Cemetery.
