PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Jackie Lee Brewington, 70, of Perryville died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006, in Yuma, Ariz.

He was born April 24, 1936, at Fredericktown, Mo., son of Barney G. and Lester Mae King Brewington. He and Beverly Anne Austin were married March 29, 1979, in Perryville.

Brewington was a driver with Ochs Trucking. He was master of Masonic Lodge and member of Eastern Star in St. Mary, Mo., and a 32nd Degree member of Scottish Rite in St. Louis.

He served in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Gregory Brewington of Little Rock, Ark.; a daughter, Barbara King of Little Rock; two stepsons, Kevin Moran of Perryville, Keith Moran of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.; a stepdaughter, Kimberly Runge of Perryville; two brothers, Jimmy Brewington of Fredericktown, Jerry Brewington of Arnold, Mo.; a sister, Wanda Pitts of Waynesboro, Miss.; three grandchildren; 14 stepgrandchildren; and 10 great-stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother.

Visitation will be at Miller Family Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday, and Monday from 6:30 a.m. to service time. Eastern Star and Masonic service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.

The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with Don Estes officiating. Burial will be in Home Cemetery, with military rites by American Legion Post 133.
